Thought this would be a good topic to get people interested. If you hear of a current sale or promotion go ahead and post it to let us all know. We like saving money!

Target Ticket - https://www.targetticket.com/ is offering 10 free movies when you sign up for an account and link it to or sign up for an Ultraviolet account. The catch is apparently you need to enter credit card info but Target Ticket isn't a monthly bill... it's a pay-per-movie service. Ends 2/12/14

PlayOn - http://www.playon.tv is running a winter sale. I'm not sure when it's over but they are offering their PlayOn and PlayLater package for $49.99 lifetime one time fee. They also have a variety of other packages available. I don't see when it expires. The only catch is that it apparently requires a PC running Windows OS.

Feel free to add any more going on right now that your aware of

Free one month of Hulu Plus when signing up with paypal

    http://www.hulu.com/plus/paypal

Basicly sign up for hulu plus and choose to pay with paypal and they give you a month free.

Free hulu plus using bing.com rewards

Not a lot of people know about this one, but if you use bing as your search, you can get points and use those points to get free hulu plus for one month with no limit on how many times you can redeem that reward.

    http://www.bing.com/explore/rewards?PUBL=REFERAFRIEND&CREA=RAW&rrid=_cbd3b2a6-8e22-1cf7-e256-9e34ccb6efb3

The above is a referral link. You can use it to sign up and gives me some points. You can also just go to bing.com and sign up. You can only get 15 total points a day from searches, this means you need to do at least 30 searches a day. Once you have 450 points, you can cash them in for one month of hulu plus. If you want to automate the searches, I recommend this link

    FREE MONTH OF HULU PLUS

I went to cancel my Hulu Plus because we don't use it with any regularity and they offered a free month of service to stay connected. I took the free month and might still cancel but thought I'd mention it. I'm not sure how often you could "threaten" to cancel but a free month is a free month.

True, nothing like offering something free so that we keep using the service, who knows if in that month we start using it more regularly and we continue to subscribe?

I am still using the Bing rewards system I listed above. I took a break because I was paid up through July and redeemed the rewards for other stuff(Gamestop gift cards). I have to say, if it wasn't for Bing rewards, I wouldn't even subscribe to Hulu Plus. It just isn't worth it.

I know this is an old thread, but it's interesting seeing the discount for using PayPal, which I use quite a bit, and I still need to look into PlayOn and PlayLater. If I see any deals in my travels, I'll post them here, because it seems more and more people are looking to cut the cord, and would appreciate a deal.

I have a free month with Hulu Plus and Netflix after I cut out the cable! This is the only way I can afford to watch television. Without Hulu and Netflix, I will probably only able to stream YouTube. We just had a Chromecast, not Roku yet!

I know this topic is a little old, but for those who wanted to know: T-Mobile customers get Sling TV for just $14.99 per month for a whole year. It's a pretty cool service and has all the channels that I missed from back when I had cable.
